What we offer**
prenatal doula service $750
This package is the “preparation” package, and includes prenatal visits in your own home, on roughly the same schedule as your prenatal visits with your provider—once a month for the first 7 months, 2 visits in the 8th month, 4 (if desired) in the 9th month. I will help you prepare for your natural labor—we will learn different options for comfort measures and labor strategies, how to achieve a drug-free birth, and how and why it could be best to avoid common interventions like induction, augmentation, epidural and c-section. Natural birth is a challenge, but you can do it!
During these visits, we will discuss tests and procedures that will be offered to you over the course of your pregnancy. We will also explore your thoughts about pregnancy and birth, any fears you may have, and help you prepare on a mental and emotional level for labor and birth.
Research shows that moms, especially first-time moms, who choose to use a doula, end up more satisfied with their births, and are more likely to achieve an unmedicated birth.
This package also includes up to two postpartum visits to debrief and process your birth and ensure you are comfortably on your way to a smooth recovery.
postpartum doula service—$1000
This service is for the mom who feels prepared for her labor and delivery, but who may not have the support she desires postpartum. The postpartum time is so special, and deserves care to honor the major rite of passage you have just come through!
I will visit twice a week in your first two weeks postpartum, then once a week for the remaining 4 weeks until the traditional 40 day recovery window is reached. This package is completely customizable depending on your personal needs—I will provide house cleaning, nutritious and delicious meals to help you recover, or childcare services as you desire!
I will help you with breastfeeding questions you may have, questions about your new baby, and will point you in the right direction with any concerns you may have in this transformative time.
prenatal and postpartum service—$1500
This is a combination of the above services, providing comprehensive care throughout your pregnancy, helping you feel totally confident in your ability to navigate the birth process, and helping you recover with joy and peace after the arrival of your little one.
**at this time, I am not attending births due to family constraints. My prenatal package will ensure you and your partner and birth team are ready to walk this path without my attendance!**
